Pale as it was, the vague moon
Was now hiding behind the clouds at noon
As the recurring cursed insanity faded
And the bemoaning shadows cascaded
Bringing life never have been

Like this, happiness never seen
Nor heard before
Realizing the life you've once lost
In loving me unselfishly, I've cost
So much pain and disappointment hidden in your eyes
Yet you still believed in me and not criticized
In my darkest days you gave a helping hand
And as you held me close to you forevermore
The sunbeam shined so brightly
The sadness and darkness of the night vanished instantly
Coz I have you now at my side
My Lord, my savior, JESUS CHRIST.
